Celtics Set to Honor Mike Gorman in Last Regular-Season Game
Clash with Heat to Mark the Occasion
Livestream the Game on Hulu Live TV
The Boston Celtics will pay tribute to legendary play-by-play commentator Mike Gorman in their final regular-season game against the Miami Heat on Sunday. Gorman, who has been the voice of the Celtics for more than 40 years, will retire at the end of this season.
The Heat, who are the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference, lost to the Celtics in the first round of last year's playoffs. This Sunday's game will be a rematch of that series.
Fans can watch the game live on Hulu Live TV, which comes with access to more than 95 live channels, including ABC and TNT. The game will also be streamed on ESPN.
Gorman has been a member of the Celtics' broadcast team since 1979. He has called some of the team's most memorable moments, including their 17 championship victories.
The Celtics will honor Gorman with a pregame ceremony. They will also have a video tribute to him on the jumbotron during the game. Gorman will likely by overcome with emotion, as this will be the final regular-season game of his prolific career.
