Tony Lewis, the lead singer and bassist of the British pop-rock band The Outfield, has passed away at the age of 62. His death was confirmed by the band's official Facebook page on Tuesday.

Lewis, born on December 21, 1957, rose to fame in the 1980s with The Outfield's single "Your Love." The song, released in 1986, became a global hit, reaching number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States and topping charts in several other countries.

The Outfield, formed in 1984, released five studio albums throughout their career. Lewis's distinctive vocals and catchy songwriting played a significant role in the band's success.

Lewis passed away at his London home on October 19, 2020. No cause of death has been released.
